Attention all Disney lovers! ‘Disney Princess – The Concert!’, presented by Disney Concerts, AEG Presents Asia and Lushington Entertainments Singapore, is going to be performed in Singapore this coming November.
This concert is going to be special as the magical evening will celebrate the music of Disney Princesses, performed by Broadway and famous television stars. For generations, the music of Disney’s Princesses has been the soundtrack of our lives, seeing Broadway stars perform on Disney music will be a double joy for Disney and Broadway lovers.
A glance at the star-studded cast
Broadway favourites Aisha Jackson (‘Anna’ in Frozen, ‘Snow White’ in Once Upon a One More Time), Steffanie Leigh (‘Mary Poppins’ in Mary Poppins, ‘Liane D’Exelmans’ in Gigi), Krysta Rodriguez (‘Cinderella’ in Into the Woods, ‘Meg’ in the world premiere of Disney’s Hercules), and Anneliese van der Pol (‘Belle’ in Beauty and the Beast and ‘Chelsea Daniels’ on the Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven/Raven’s Home) combine forces in this concert of a lifetime, joined by their magical Music Director, Benjamin Rauhala (Fiddler on the Roof) and enchanting Prince, Adam J. Levy (Moulin Rouge).
What’s unique about the concert?
The best part of the concert is that the production features Broadway performers appearing as themselves. Costumed Disney characters do not appear at this event.
The audience is sure to lose themselves in classic and evergreen favourites that will be performed by Broadway musical stars. A few songs to be performed in the concert are – “How Far I’ll Go,” “A Whole New World,” “Colors of the Wind,” “Part of Your World,” “Almost There,” “Let It Go” and more!
An immersive Disney magic awaits you, with larger-than-life animation and theatrical effects, as the acclaimed stars sing your favourite songs and share their exclusive, hilarious, and heartfelt behind-the-scenes stories from their time on the stage and screen.
The programme will last approximately 2 hours, including a 20-minute intermission.
