Get Your Taste Buds Ready For The Singapore Food Festival 2022!

Foodies, mark your calendars! The annual Singapore Food Festival (SFF) returns for its 29th edition over three weekends from 24 August to 11 September 2022 with the theme “Real Foodies Only”.  This year’s festival will bring you a feast of over 70 gastronomic experiences based on the pillars of heritage, contemporary and innovation. For the first time since the pandemic, SFF offers a sumptuous spread of in-person experiences, including a Festival Village with over 25 food establishments and a special 9-course dinner, as well as an array of workshops, tours, and exclusive menus at partner restaurants.

This year, the highly anticipated Festival Village will bring together over 25 culinary and beverage brands at the Bayfront Event Space from 31 August to 11 September 2022. Get ready to indulge in the familiar favourites with an innovative twist such as Jelebu Dry Laksa’s signature dish topped with Boston lobster and tiger prawns and SFF exclusive plant-based Golden Chilli Crab Burger from The Goodburger and Blue Lotus Eating House. The newly-minted Michelin Bib Gourmand stall One Prawn & Co will collaborate with heritage brand Hock Lian Huat to present a thick, silky prawn bisque with shrimps, mussels and clams, alongside a ngoh hiang (five-spiced meat rolls) platter. Other must-try dishes include Beef Rendang Slider from The Feather Blade, Nasi Lemak Taco from Mezcla and Black Pepper Crab Roll from Rappu as well as  Kurobuta wanton mee presented by MasterChef finalist, Aaron Wong and local celebrity, Thomas Ong.

Beyond the Festival Village, various restaurants island-wide will offer festival-exclusive dishes. Singapore’s hottest bagel cafe, Two Men Bagel House will present a bagelwich packed with the aromatic flavours of Chinese, Indian and Malay curries. For those with a sweet tooth, you must try the Teh Halia flavoured ice cream or the guava sorbet with sour plum powder presented by The Ice Cream & Cookie Co. and Creamier.
