Going green is a topic that has been on everyone’s minds for years and is yet to dull as environmental issues will always remain relevant and close to us. We all have a part to play in protecting the planet and Green Living 2016 makes it possible for all groups of people to come together to learn about eco-living in its second annual eco lifestyle event. Held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre from 9-11 September, the event aims to educate and encourage consumers to embrace an eco friendly lifestyle.
A variety of activities is lined up for individuals, families, sports-enthusiasts, businesses, government agencies and many more so everyone can look forward to participating in activities that would best interest them. If you are a lover of health and fitness, professional yoga instructors from Strala will be there to conduct hands-on yoga sessions. Parents who are interested in fun and engaging activities for their kids can head for cooking workshops by nutritionist, Tiffany Wee, and learn about the vital nutrients that their families need while participating in the cooking demo. The event also sees collaboration with big brands such as IKEA and Biomax, showcasing sustainable and eco-friendly furniture and gardens that will inspire you to create a greener and more organic home.
You can’t miss reusing and recycling in Green Living with the Eco-Market Place where eco-conscious products such as clothes, baby products and toys are sold. Workshops are also available for children to learn how to reuse plastic materials and turn them into other creations.
Themed Cities of Love, Green Living 2016 helps us to love our homes and create cities that are greener and more loving to our Mother Earth.
Admission is free. Click here to register and here to learn more about the workshops.
