18 Jul - Brain and Behaviour workshop

Families and kids can join the “Brain and Behaviour” workshop where kids participate in hands-on activities designed by scientists, and parents get insights on how their emotions and behaviours affect the way their brains function. Don’t miss the session to learn how and why Singaporeans are more sensitive towards allergies and how we can prevent it. Check out the Food Nation talk on how to make smart food choices for better health and well-being.

Calling on parents with primary school kids, start them on science early by visiting A*STAR’s biology and bioengineering labs at our Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN), Singapore BioImaging Consortium (SBIC) and Institute of Medical Biology (IMB)! More details here. See our labs as they have never been seen before!

Join us and NAFA students to explore the interaction between science and art. Add to the colour of a mass mural painting to commemorate our inaugural celebration.

Chillax in the evening at the Genexis Theatre for a ‘Music meets Science’ session with Edward Chia, of Timbre Group, as he shares how music can affect our moods, behaviours and the way we taste our food! Party animals may adjourn to Timbre+ for hard rocking tunes, craft beers and light bites!
