Ikea Singapore product recall. See below for urgent information pertaining to two popular Ikea toys
Ikea Singapore is urging all parents who have purchased the LATTJO drum sticks or LATTJO tongue drum to immediately bring them back to any Ikea store.
It is a precautionary recall due to reports by 6 separate staff in Europe that that the rubber ball of the drum sticks can detach or be unscrewed. This has been classified as a choking hazard.

The products have been sold at Ikea Singapore since November 2015 and customers will receive a full refund. Thankfully, there have been no incidents reported globally so far.
Ikea says that products are tested and approved to safety standards and these dangerous issues were picked up in subsequent investigations.
