The one-north Festival 2017 is held on 18 and 19 August at Biopolis. Jointly organised by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and JTC, and supported by Science Centre Singapore, the Festival celebrates Research, Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise. Themed Pioneering an Innovation Future, this year’s Festival provides a glimpse into the innovations that will shape our future and incorporates a special segment for parents and children!
Through various hands-on workshops by the Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS), A*STAR, and partners such as the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), you and your children can interact on scientific and artistic topics.
The brain and behaviour workshops, conducted by scientists from A*STAR’s SICS are fun-filled sessions designed to you insight into how the brain functions and how emotions and behaviours affect the brain. Or get your creative juices flowing at the NAFA workshops, “Drawing without pencil” and “Metal Stamping”, where you can draw with other tools and design your own metal mementos. Seats are limited, register now!
